Lambda limbo, what should I do?
Ok, so my R33 RB25DET with RB20 ECU on E85 has been really under powered so I installed a AEM UEGO to see what's going on. Gauge says I'm really lean and it doesn't match the fuel map at all. The sensor via a DLP-I08 is different again. what-to-go-by.jpg This is the CSV for the DLP-I08: afr1.csv Is ...

Re: Sanity check: Hard to start (AFM/800cc/E85) and it's win
My car is bogging down when cold also.
I have set "Warm up timing temp min" and "warm up timing temp max" to 30.
Is that ok? or should they be set to 205?

Re: Nistune for Android 4.0
So need the male (DTE version) which is self powered. However $71 + $44 shipping to Australia... hmmm. Might be tempted to find a cheaper option unless someone over this way wants to split shipping with me  I go to IL all the time. 7 times last year (as I type this in Breda, Netherlands). I h...

Re: R35 GTR MAF, HPX MAF testing
I would not be doing 2.5" unless I can get a better pipe where the sensor is in the middle of the pipe. In my last setup the sensor was about 3/4" way in the pipe and required significant VQ map changes I might be able to knock something up for you. What length do you need the 2.5" p...

Re: E85 inconsistencies
Just a bit of my finding for anyone interested during the cold this winter, car basically spent two months in the garage with being started once a week up to operating temp and when I went to drop the oil today before the next track day this is what I found. e85 vs oil.jpg Oil had completely absorb...

Re: E85 inconsistencies
Oh don't forget.. regular oil changes (with compatible oil).
Have you seen the thread on SAU where they guy let his car sit for a few months and the oil was full of water (he had an oil cooler too, which I believe made it worse)?

Re: E85 inconsistencies
The fuel filter seems clean (what ran out of it), I need to cut it open. Did the conversion around March. Car died a month later on a round-about. pushed it off, scratched my head.. Seemed like the pump, but when I took it out it ran in my hand. I thought it might be a relay etc. etc. long story sho...

Re: E85 inconsistencies
Yeah that was the point :) Another thing you need to watch out for is crap in the tank/system. I just pulled my pump today because it was squealing like a piggy. The socks get full of junk. This pump is 3 months old lol. pump-1.jpg pump-2.jpg I need to find somewhere that sells the socks individuall...

NisTune @ Drifts
I was down at Mallala on the weekend. Noticed some cars stating that they have NisTune boards installed. Can't beat that sort of advertising! I thought... You could probably make a killing installing boards in an exhibition tent there. Lots of Nissans in the car park. Now that I think about it, you ...
