Re: FORD LIGHTNING 90mm MAF - part number????

Cheers guys. I'll try the local ford dealer first, see how confused he looks when I give him the part number.

FORD LIGHTNING 90mm MAF - part number????

Could someone provide a 100% accurate part number for the one that nistune supports? I've had a look around and I'm getting all sorts of stuff back from google. Or better still point me in the direction of a trusted webpage where I can just buy it, the company must be willing to post to the UK thoug...

Re: DLP converter vs. LM-1

set the DLP to WB02LH and the LM1 to WB02RH

or chop the serial plug off the LM1 lead and wire it into the DLP

Re: Taking the plunge and mapping my own + license Q

old engine never had any faults at all apart from datascan picking up the fueltemp problems but running and driving I couldn't tell it had a different ecu. fuel temp affects starting the car with the Z32 on RB25. you need to use a resistor 2K ohms from memory between fuel temp line and ground to ma...

Re: Taking the plunge and mapping my own + license Q

Unless your wanting an A* management system with traction conrol etc then I don't see why people keep bothering with stuff like emanage. I'm sure in time with a bit more reverse engineering and tweeking the nissan ecus will reveal a few more hidden treasures. I know the later evo ecu's are getting h...

Re: Taking the plunge and mapping my own + license Q

I'll take you on that if I get stuck cheers Ed.

I would have thought a lot more skyline owners would have this setup but hardly any of them have heard of it, the majority of them just get the standard ecu from RSP with a staged map on it. I'll spread the love for nistune:D

Taking the plunge and mapping my own + license Q

I got a Z32ecu and type 2 board last year to save a 600m round trip to the only place in the UK that does the RB25 ecu everytime I need a remap but not long after my engine had a very painful death. I've now got a new engine in but it's a very different uprated spec compared to the old standard unit...

Knock sensing? Just to clear something up for me. I've wired mine in with a field harness and I'm only using one knock sensor. If two share the same signal wire, would it affect the signal? Fuel temp though is exactly the same resistance as the water temp sender. I joined mine into that and due to s...

Newbie - Got an R33 GTS-T with a few Q's

I've searched all over and can't find an answer to this one, not many people seam to do anything with the R33 ECU. Last year I had mine remapped to 425bhp (Using tuners ECU then burning a chip and putting it into mine) and I've noticed the engine knock a few times. It only seams to do it at full boo...
