Looking for an Moates Ostrich 2

Anyone have one laying around not being used, with the 28 pin connector?

I'm trying to help a friend that wants to get into mapping his drag-race snowmobile, and they are no longer in production.

If so, please message me here, or email me fibertekd@hotmail.com.

According to my buddy, his IP and URL were blacklisted. Likely, it's for not having that suspected harmful code fixed.. Hopefully he gets around to getting everything put back together soon. (edit) Well, after doing a little research myself, he's renting space in a server farm in Germany. And all th...

Thanks to all who helped...

Yesterday I finished installing all the hardware on the 800, and fired it up. In this video, you can see me changing the maps till it fires and stays running.

Next step is narrow the range a little better, then to the dyno.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I hadn't given up on the project.. As soon as I got back on my feet after my hip fracture, life in the fast-lane seemed like a break from what I've been doing to catch up on house repairs and bills. But I've had a little free time over the last couple weeks an...

WOW!!!!

The amount of information published in patents is staggering... Truly a great resource for reverse engineering stuff like this.

Thanks again.

My email is gabez@tds.net , send me your asm and I can take a quick look and see what I find, also I will have your return address I can send you these documents. YHM... Your provider is darn picky about attachments, so it took a couple tries to fool the sensors into taking the attachments.... :?

Yes, it's a 27c256.. I have a couple 27sf512's, an ostrich 2, and a willem-clone burner. The actual operating code is about 5k. If I was better at coding, then I could put several versions of maps on the original size chip.. Yes, the ostrich will need a running machine to trace, so I have a buddy wi...

Glad I could help, the extra bit manipulation and test instructions provided by the 6303 are very handy. Sounds like a cool project uglykid, I have heard that some snowmobile ecus are similar to the nissan/subaru, and also some heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, excavators, etc.) It is a very coo...

First of all, let me apologize for derailing a thread, but I registered here because I felt the need to thank GZ for his post... (the first one in this thread) In his post, he explained the OIM, and AIM usage for activating ports on the 6303, and I have been pounding my head on my keyboard for a wee...
