I too am having start issues with my rb25, ford lightning maf in 4 inch intake tube. When cold it starts at like 30. Im running mine in a 4 inch tube. Rb25det,built bottom end with 1000cc with a honda accord v6 resistor box wired inline. I wanna say that my latency is at 760 from the start. Did u increase it? Are you using 2.5 pvc b/c you had it laying around? Im mean If I'm gonna have to set this hpx up as draw through then it will be fitted into a 4 inch pipe...smallest being a 3.5 since the software supports that.

use a diablo maf extended and new lightning MAF or bite the bullet and get a speed density system installed. You won't be disappointed, either way, just out of pocket. Ok. Currently my car is sitting at the shop and Im debating what I can do with this sensor and program. I really don't want to fork out anouther 2 grand on an AEM or Haltech unit...thats last resort if I can use what I have.

Try a Z32 maf or the IPX maf. Or do what I did and buy a AEM lol. Im trying not to buy a 1500 dollar ecu program but with the money wasted on this junk I should have....I feel like a test dummy with this maf junk. Understand with the HPX that the calibration curves originally came by doubling the existing tables values but were not accurate enough so I could never get it running on the R31 Now since the VMP calculations were hacked I am able to put the better calibration curves in now but testing takes time ...

Its a rb25det bored. 040 over with a set of wiseco's. Ring gap is set for turbo street/strip. Stock valves with a 5 angle valve job.
