Re: TP load problem

sorry to hijack the thread, but will this apply to CA18DET S13 ?
I've seen similar issue appear couple years ago, but can't really remember what solution I came up for that specific car

Re: HELP with tuning...

on good thing you can do is take a bit and read the nistune tuning manual. it's available for download on www.nistune.com it gives very good pointers. you can always begin from scratch... take the OEM tune, change injectors and maf, adjusting K constant accordingly such as latency... of course, don'...

Re: ca18det pulling timing

What have you done to bypass the knock sensor ?
Have you removed the suspect CAS and inspected if the splines are good both on the CAS and on the camshaft? Does both of them have the D shaped bit that forces the fitting position?

Also, what turbo are you using?

Re: CA18DET all of a sudden runs rich

another way to test the "error report thing" is to force an error... like unplugging the water temp sensor, or another sensor that might shoot an error...

have you tested for boost leaks yet?

yes it does.
at least in the s13 CA18DET ECU it's incorrect, the scales. the graph itself seems to be the same as before.
