Re: Dwell time/length

Be good if you could fix the reporting of dwell time in bnr32 as it almost never matches the scope reading. I dont always have a scope at hand so it would good to be able to trust the reporting to within +-0.2ms or something. Just to clarify its not possible to get 3.2ms at high rpm on the bnr32 I w...

Re: Dwell time/length

I tested this with a scope as I have been getting misfires on a BNR32 with higher boost using my LS D585 coils which need 3.9-4.1ms. I get dwell limitation from about 4200rpm upwards. It drops from 4ms max to 2.6ms at 8000rpm in a linear fashion. It doesnt matter what i do with the two tables there ...

Re: Feature Pack updates + Information thread

Thanks for the FP2.1 update. MAF limiting on deccel function works well, I no longer get rich stalling with my 4" MAF tube. Havent yet noticed that it causes lean spot problems elsewhere.

Re: Idle stalling TP Load limit decel

Ok will try dropping those cells until you release the new code. Yeah there is definately something weird going on in the maf sensor at these conditions. Its a single turbo swapped rb26 with a single R35 maf in a 4" tube with straightener. Unfortunately its impossible to install a filter thats ...

Idle stalling TP Load limit decel

Hi I have been struggling with this for a few weeks. I have stalling coming down to idle from high engine speed in neutral. Also if I clutch in coming to a stop it dies. Its usually goes rich as can be seen from black smoke as it tries to catch. Its a MAF issue for sure but I cant seem to solve it s...

Re: Flat shift

Another request. I need it for my new gearbox otherwise i have to move away from Nistune which I dont want to do as there is literally no other ecus that have an acceptable maf strategy maybe a bosch motorsport or custom software from motec. What would be the cost to have this implemented if you don...

Re: stock BNR32 GTR hitting max load?

You should post a log, easier to diagnose problems. Whats the voltage on your maf sensors, although going from 7 -10 psi i would not expect them to max out unless you have a boost leak... 7psi is too low for a stock rb26 with restrictor. They should be roughly 0.7bar with restrictor so 10.29psi.

Re: Retarded Ignition

Could you not just offset (retard) the CAS sensor then add the positive spark offset in all necessary maps so you could achieve a actual negative spark timing? Or is there code somewhere that would not be covered by this and cause problems at some point with too much retard??

Re: Dwell time/length

I don't get this problem on my 32 ecu using FP firmware at least if I just raise the rpm in neutral. Targeted 3ms and its pretty consistent up to 6krpm. Sometimes I get a random 1ms or 4ms (dangerous with my GM D585 coils!) in map tracing but when it goes back over that cell its around 3ms. Be inter...

R35 Injector latency

As title does anybody have injector latency values? Im on feature pack 2 so a table is easier but I can convert from non-FP system if anybody has tested/calibrated them.

Does haltech etc have any values in some basemap I could rob them from?

5v supply r32 gtr ecu

I am trying to get map sensor values into consult using a techedge 3b1 which will send the sensor data over the serial connection. I need a 5v source to run the map/boost sensor which is the best one to use for the 32 gtr ecu. I was thinking TPS as its close to where the sensor will be? Is the power...

Re: Auto rescaling not just scalers but also maps

R32 GTR ECU will halve the VQ maps becuase there are two MAF inputs, so that is normal. You will will need to adjust K constant until you get full usage of the map But it had 2 Z32 mafs swapped to 2 gtr slot style mafs. If you did a calibration compare the maf curves for the new GTR slot curves wer...

I guess from your other post your sorted this but I used these for reference if anyone else needs ideas.

Not cheap but a direct fit using existing pipework if thats what you want.

Re: Auto rescaling not just scalers but also maps

At this point I would like to run the car on the dyno and check actual figures compared to theoretics due to the variables including the non-linear curves the MAF uses which cannot be calculated without introducing polynomials, air dynamics and pressure into the equations Did you get time to do thi...
